Congratulations to Goin' Postal
Chamber Business of the Month for June!

Padgett Business Services

Putnam County Chamber is proud to salute Goin’ Postal at 4000 State Route 34 as our Chamber Business of the Month for June 2009.  Owner, Brian Woofter, a former Xerox Corporation Systems Analyst has owned the Goin’ Postal franchise in Teays Valley for about three years.  Brian finds the business climate in Teays Valley very healthy.  He has developed a diverse customer base and has provided a wide variety of shipping services.  “One of the most unique items shipped was a five-foot, hand-crafted, wooden model schooner, for which I built a custom shipping crate”, says Brian.  “I have also shipped artwork worth thousands of dollars and even shipped a two-foot powder blue stuffed bunny for Easter.”  An authorized shipper with UPS, FedEx and the USPS, Goin’ Postal also provides:

- Packaging Service & Supplies
- Copying / Printing / Faxing / Laminating
- Mailbox Rental / Free Notary Service / Rush Passports & Passport Photos
- eBay Services
- Office Supplies, Printer Ink and Toner
- Leanin' Tree & Tickelopes Greeting Cards
- Crossroads Scented Candles, Candle Warmers & Diffusers

Of particular interest this time of year is Goin’ Postal’s American Flag Replacement Project.  The over 300 family-owned stores in the Goin' Postal packing and shipping chain will be banding together as part of the chain's patriotic beautification plan to offer free replacement flags to anyone who brings in a tattered, torn or faded American Flag.

Owner Brian Woofter of Goin’ Postal in Teays Valley will begin replacing flags on June 8th in preparation of Flag Day which is the following Sunday, June 14th.  Bring your tattered, torn, or faded American Flag to Goin' Postal of Teays Valley starting June 8th to receive a FREE 3' x 5' American Flag, compliments of the owner.  This is the third year Goin’ Postal of Teays Valley has replaced flags.  Brian estimates that he has replaced over 300 flags the past two years and has 200 new flags on hand for this year.  As in the past, Brian will work with the local VFW and Boys Scouts to have the tattered flags disposed of properly.  There is a limit of one per family per physical address while supplies last; some restrictions and conditions apply.  For more information on guidelines for the American Flag Replacement Project, please stop in and see Brian at 4000 State Route 34, Suite 2, Hurricane (next to Papa Johns) or call him at 304.201.1153.
