Congratulations to Reach Personal Fitness
Chamber Business of the Month for October!
Located in Prestige Park, just off the Teays Valley exit, Reach Personal Fitness opened their doors in March of 2008. Owners, Rebekah Greene and Alisha Robinson, met and realized they had the same goal, to help people in their community live healthier and happier lives. Rebekah went to Marshall University to earn her degree in Exercise Science and worked in gyms as a personal trainer for 5 years before opening a private personal training studio and Alisha got her certifications in personal training as well as in teaching sports yoga and pilates.
There are so many people in our community who need the help of a personal trainer but either don’t know where to go, don’t want to workout at a gym in front of other people, or simply can’t afford to pay for a gym membership and the additional charges for a personal trainer. A few things that make Reach Personal Fitness different are that they are a small, private personal training studio, there are never more than a few people in the facility at all times. Another quality that really sets Reach apart from your typical fitness facility is that they don’t charge a monthly membership. It is set up to where you pay for a package that suits what you want, and you can choose how you want to pay, per session, per week, bi-monthly, monthly, or whatever fits your budget best.
Another benefit to joining the Reach Team is that if you can’t come to Reach, they will come to you at your home or office to help you accomplish your goals. Because everybody is uniquely their own, they specifically tailor a different program for every person who comes through their door. They can help you tone up, lose weight, gain muscle, increase flexibility, improve your balance, help your daily tasks to get easier, give you a program to do at your own gym, or whatever it is that you want or need. Reach Personal Fitness also offers corporate training both on or off site. There are many benefits to having a company workout program; employees tend to feel better which helps them to be more productive, they are healthier so they take less sick days, and a big bonus is that many insurance companies will give discounts to their customers who offer their employees a wellness or exercise program. Depending on your company’s facility, they can come to you to have either fitness classes, such as yoga, pilates, and aerobics, or, if there is exercise equipment available, they can do small group personal training. If your facility isn’t functional for an on-site wellness program Reach will open their doors to you and your employees for personal training and classes.
