The Putnam County Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate Drip Coffee on being selected as the Business of the Month. Drip Coffee began with its owner Robinson Vanater’s love for coffee and drive for recognition.
Drip Coffee opened its first location at Area 34, and soon opened Drip Café on Main in Hurricane. Over the years, the business has grown to become more than a light coffee and food service, as they are able to offer catering services and curbside service from the restaurant.
Due to COVID-19, Vanater had to close the Area 34 location during the quarantine period. However, Vanater redesigned his approach and was able to keep the main street location open. This began the curbside pickup at Drip Cafe. Vanater also decided to add outdoor dining to offer more seating for social distancing guidelines.
When asked about his proudest moment with the business, Vanater said without a doubt the community’s support. The people inspired him to take a leap of faith and open a second location on main street. Vanater really cares about his business and loves seeing new faces every time he gets the chance to interact with customers. When asked about being Business of the Month, Vanater said:
“It’s an honor to be selected as Business of the Month by the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce. They have been a big contributor to the success of the business.”
