March Business of the Month-Randolph Engineering

Mar 2, 2026 | 0 comments

Randolph Engineering is a full-service firm offering an array of services including transportation engineering, municipal engineering, land development and surveying, structural engineering, permitting, and construction engineering. They are celebrating 50 years as a #PutnamWV business this month, and we couldn’t be happier for them!

Randolph Engineering has been turning company’s dreams into reality with decades of engineering expertise for local and state agencies, as well as private and corporate developers. They have designed award-winning bridges for the West Virginia Division of Highways, site improvements and plant expansions for Toyota Motor Manufacturing, and site design for some of the largest retail companies in the United States.

Founded by Roger and Grace Randolph in 1976, the company has grown from a modest beginning into a successful, innovative and award-winning engineering firm. The team’s dedication to detail and commitment to client satisfaction has consequently generated a workload that consists primarily of repeat and referral clients, some of whom have been with the company since the very beginning.

One of the keys to the success of Randolph Engineering is employee loyalty and longevity. The company’s family of talented and dedicated professionals includes key staff members who recently celebrated their first 25 years with the company. This loyalty, along with several staff members approaching similar milestones, provides clients with a sense of reliability and stability that Randolph Engineering is proud to back up.

When we asked Grace what she loves about doing business in #PutnamWV, she responded “our love for Putnam County began in 1972 when we moved our growing family to this area. We love the people and how easy it was to become a part of the Putnam County community where everyone was eager to have us play a part in its growth. Putnam County is the “heartbeat” between two of our largest cities here in West Virginia where we have access to great colleges, hospitals, doctors, sports complex and everything in between.”

Putnam County loves you right back, Grace! Thank you for all your family and company have done over the past five decades to make it an even better place.
