  • Pride & Progress Newsletter
    This full page newsletter is printed in the Metro Putnam edition of the Charleston Newspapers the first Wednesday of every month, as well as, sent to Chamber members electronically. Up-to-date information on new and current Chamber members, upcoming Chamber events and promotion of past events, including pictures when available, is provided. Members are encouraged to submit information suitable for publication by the 20th of every month.

    Promote your good news through the “member news” section of the Pride & Progress Newsletter.

  • Community Calendar
    One important function of the Chamber is to keep the business community and the residents informed on events and activities. The Chamber website hosts a community calendar for the entire community to access and use. Chamber members and residents can submit information for publication on the calendar.

  • Member Discounts
    The member to member discount program encourages members to offer discounts to and take advantage of offers from fellow members.

  • Advertising Discount
    All members will receive a 10% discount on online and directory advertising with new chamber investment or renewal of chamber investment with agreement within first 30 days.

  • Mailing Labels
    Mailing labels of all Chamber members are available for purchaseby members, allowing you to promote your business by mail to someone you know is as business-minded as you.

  • Certificate of Origin
    Putnam County Chamber of Commerce will provide the required seal on certificates of origin as a courtesy to Chamber members. There is a fee of $25 per certificate for non-Chamber members.

  • E-Billboards
    This electronic service provides the Chamber member with an opportunity to send a quality “infomercial” to the Chamber email list serve – nearly 800 email addresses. Each member receives one free per year. There is a modest fee for additional.

  • Online Networking
    The chamber uses most all social media platforms to help promote your business! Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Periscope. The chamber also has an app available on google play and iTunes.

  • Guide Listing
    Each member is listed and cross-referenced by business name and product or service provided. Over 3,000 copies are distributed throughout the community to Chamber members, hotels, libraries, government offices, service agencies, etc.

  • Lunch Information Series—Brown Bag Lunch
    Members gain complementary access to this monthly informational series held the third Friday of each month at 12:00 noon.

  • Ground Breaking, Ribbon Cuttings, Etc.
    Many Chamber businesses have occasions to celebrate. The Chamber of Commerce staff and “Chamber Champs” are always prepared to assist in these celebrations. A phone call or email to the Chamber will start the process with press releases and promotion.

  • Business of the Month
    The Chamber promotes one member business every month. They are featured in our monthly Pride & Progress Newsletter, displayed on the opening page of our website, listed under the Recognitions tab on our website and receive a Business of the Month Certificate to display in their business.

  • Involvement
    Members have the opportunity to get involved in any of the chamber’s committees including; NOW, Generation Putnam, Education committee, etc.

  • Advocacy
    Representation is provided for members at the local and state level.
