Josh Ruby founded BRAVO Live DJ in 2004 and operated as a singular, part-time DJ. In 2010, he decided it was time to consider turning this passion into more than just a side gig and explored what the mobile DJ industry had to offer! With the help of a business coach, he developed and worked a two-year plan before finally fully immersing himself with a new, full-time career in 2012.

During the two year development period, Josh focused on recruitment of DJ talent and by 2014, the BRAVO Live DJ family had grown to five consistent DJ’s. Josh continued to build on that and is thrilled to now have a team of eight  Pro-Mix DJ’s plus two office staff. They specialize in weddings, corporate events, fundraising galas, and uplighting. Bravo Live DJ has over 60 referral partners who will work with to make your event exactly what you want it to be! His team performs over 200 shows annually and Josh is proud that the business is growing all the time.

We asked Josh what being part of the Chamber means to him and he said “we’ve found the abundance of networking opportunities to be extremely valuable! Not only do we love participating in morning and evening networking events as much as possible, but we’ve found other ways to connect with members such as ribbon cutting celebrations, political forums, and more. It’s been quite a ride already, but we know the best is yet to come!
