Shop Small Saturday, of course! A hugely important day for our Putnam County small businesses, artisans, and vendors, and they are ready to make your weekend of shopping fantastic! Area 34 will be bursting at the seams with vendors, as well as the huge vendor event at Valley Park Conference Center and also at Social Event Space on Main Street in Hurricane! Friday evening, John Harrison will be performing at Fireside Grille. Relaxing and enjoying live music and friends is the perfect way to unwind the day after Thanksgiving.  His performance begins at 6:00pm.

This Saturday and every Saturday through February, The City of Hurricane is sponsoring FREE open gym at ZoneOut Sports from 9:00-11:00am, located at the end of Morris Court off of Main Street in Hurricane. This free indoor fun is for 1st-5th graders and their parents and is open to Putnam County residents only. What a great way to keep your kids active throughout the winter months!

Sunday at 3:00pm at Forrest Burdette United Methodist Church in Hurricane, Rodney Barbour will be giving an organ concert at no cost to the community.  If you haven’t experienced the organ music at Forrest Burdette, this is the day to do it! This Christmas concert is sure to get you in the holiday spirit so mark you calendar for this concert.
