This weekend at Gritt’s Farm is going to be one for the books, and with beautiful weather! Saturday is Demo Day and your family will be able to experience live equipment demos at the top of every hour (plus gift giveaways!) from 11am-4pm. Also, Spookley the Square Pumpkin returns for Spookley Weekend. This is the only weekend he’s here, so if you have a Spookley fan at your house, don’t miss it! Catch him Thursday thru Sunday throughout the farm visiting his pals and for special story times with the fantastic staff of the Putnam County Library! While you’re at Gritt’s, you can grab your pumpkins and mums so they can be enjoyed on your porch for the whole month of October!

Putnam County Fair will have a Goodwill trailer parked by the Eleanor Pool Saturday from 9:00-4:00. Bring your donations and come hungry because there will be a hot dog and bake sale from 11:00-2:00. This event is a fundraiser for the fair.

It’s going to be a gorgeous weekend to be out and about in #PutnamWV, whether you’re spending time at your favorite park, shopping on Main Street in Hurricane and/or Poca Plaza, or enjoying dinner and drinks while unwinding from the week at your favorite Putnam County spot!
