This Saturday is the first one of the month, and that means Tire Collection Day! If you have old tires to dispose of, go see Rob from Putnam Solid Waste Authority in Winfield right next to Payne’s Produce and get them off your hands! Drop off is between 9:00-1:00. No rims, no over-sized tires, and no more than ten tires will be accepted per person.
The Borrowed & Blue Wedding Market is Saturday at the Valley Park Conference Center. We are loving the idea of this event all the way around! If you’re getting married on a budget, don’t miss this opportunity to pick up some awesome items to make your special day all you want it to be for a fraction of the cost! Or maybe you’re looking to sell your wedding items (or formal wear) that have been in your attic collecting dust. You can cash in on those items by being a vendor at this awesome event and make some of that money back! Visit the event on the Valley Park, WV Facebook page for the link to sign up to be a vendor.
Celebrate the cool down (finally!) by visiting Gritt’s Farm or the Putnam Farmers Market this weekend! What’s growing at Gritts? What’s NOT growing! They are up to their ears with corn, watermelon, peaches, tomatoes, cantaloupe…and so much more! The Putnam Farmers Market will be making the short move from their usual location in the field between Exxon and Billy Sundays to the other side of the Exxon and into the Area 34 parking lot, where they’ll be setting up for the remainder of the season. Visit Saturday anytime between 9am-1pm to stock up on garden vegetables, microgreens, mushrooms, baked goods, honey, artisan products, and more!
Make it a great weekend, Putnam County!
