Join all the fun happening in #PutnamWV this weekend as the City of Winfield hosts Putnam County Homecoming, featuring food trucks, craft vendors, kids activities, music, magic, history presentation, and so much more! Sunday morning at 10:45am, there will be an inter-denominational community worship service. This event will be located under a tent this year for shade. Then you’ll have time to grab lunch if you want before the parade kicks off at 1:30. Don’t miss out on the fun happening all weekend long!
If you’d like to start your weekend at a slower pace, take the kiddos to the Saturday Morning Movie on Main, kicking off at 10:00am. Visit the Putnam County Library Facebook page for details and also to check out their always-full events calendar!
Also, we are just a few short weeks away from the end of the regular Putnam Farmer’s Market season. That’s right! The market wraps up the last Saturday in September, so be sure to take advantage of these last few weeks and support your local farmers by stocking up. The market runs from 9:00am-1:00pm Saturday in the parking lot of Area 34 between Billy Sunday’s and the Holiday Inn Express.
