Business of the Month-Servpro

We talked with Tim McDaniel, General Manager of Servpro to find out all we could about this wonderful Chamber business!

Servpro opened its doors 33 years ago in 1990 with two employees, one vehicle, and operated out of the original owners’ garage in Pinch, West Virginia. In its early stages, Servpro primarily performed residential carpet and upholstery cleaning. After being open just a little over a year, they started receiving requests from those in the insurance industry to offer and perform water & fire cleanup and restoration for their clients, and the rest is history.

Through offering great service, having the best trained technicians in the industry, and ultimately having empathy and compassion for their customers, Servpro credits the community for building this company into what it is today. Servpro, with their contents cleaning division and construction division, plus the fact they also perform mold remediation and offer biohazard cleanup, makes them a one-stop-shop for all your cleaning and construction needs.

Servpro made its last move to their current location in Nitro about 11 years ago.  They have a staff of over 30 highly trained team members and a fleet of vehicles that allows them to respond to any size disaster seven days a week, 24 hours a day whether it be a residential or commercial project. They not only have the two franchises here locally, but have a sister franchise in Charlottsville, Virginia and will be making a big announcement soon about another coming in early 2024.

Servpro is always there to help. Not only with assisting home and business owners with restoring their property after a disaster, but in giving back to the communities they have served through the years. Servpro supports several non-profit organizations and try their best to be a part of as many community events as possible.

Tim says Servpro loves doing business in Putnam County because they appreciate how everyone cheers each other on and wants success for other businesses. He says Putnam County has been welcoming since Servpro opened and they’re thankful to have been able to grow alongside Putnam County over the years. They look forward to continuing the same great service you have come to expect from Servpro!
