Join us Saturday for the Great Easter Egg Hunt & Fudge Off hosted by Valley Park & City of Hurricane! The event kicks off at 11:00am with the Great Easter Egg Hunt with over 11,000 eggs! The Fudge Off runs from 11:00-2:00 or until all the fudge is gone. Be sure to taste all the fudge samples and vote for your favorites!

Be sure to come out and enjoy a great day in the community!
11:00 am – 1:00 pm – Free Face Painting by Alto Design Face Painting
11:30 am – 1:00 pm – Free Kid’s Crafts and a visit from the Easter Bunny
The Town of Eleanor’s Easter Egg Hunt & Pancake Breakfast is also Saturday! This annual event will take place in the Town Park behind the fire department and is FREE! Expect bushels of fun and over 8,000 Easter Eggs will be hidden by members of the Eleanor Volunteer Fire Department for the hunt.
Pancakes will be served from 10am-noon in Room C (upstairs at the fire department).
The Spring Planter Workshop at Gritt’s Farm is Saturday!
🪴Plant your perfect custom flower pot or hanging basket at Gritt’s Farm just in time for spring!
⏰ Workshop times are 10am, 12pm, or 2pm.
❤️ You plant it, we’ll grow & nurture it, then you’ll pick it up when it’s in full-bloom. Our Gardening Experts will guide the experience, demonstrating, educating, and answering any questions.
🧤Whether you’re a beginner gardener or a seasoned pro, this workshop is perfect for all levels! We’ll make sure you have all of the supplies you’ll need; just bring your best pals and gardening gloves if you wish!

✨ Homemade brunch is included and features a delectable Spring Brunch Box including

homemade chicken salad croissant or pimento cheese croissant, fresh tomato cucumber salad, fruit pizza cookie topped with berries, and non-alcoholic beverages.
What else is Happening in Putnam County? Well, it’s the last weekend of Tastes & Talents Month, so be sure to get out there and try something new! If you love food, entertainment, and/or art, Putnam County has a lot to offer.  You just have to get out and find it!
It’s also going to be a beautiful weekend to start “thinking spring” as far as your yard and garden are concerned. Make the trip to Gritt’s Midway Greenhouse if you haven’t been up yet this season and check out all they’re been working on to make sure you are ready for spring!
