It’s all of the thrills and none of the chills! Come out for Saturday Morning Movies on Main going on all month at Putnam County Library’s Main Branch. Movies start at 10:00am. The lineup is as follows:
October 14: Monsters, Inc. (G)
October 21: Clue (PG)
October 28: Monster House (PG)

After an easy morning at the library, get geared up for the Annual Hurricane Harvest Festival, which takes place at Hurricane City Park from 1:00-6:00pm.  If you’ve been to this event, you know it’s always a great and festive time!  The Harvest Festival has free admission, lots of free fun including cotton candy, t-shirts, and a petting zoo. In addition to the free fun, there is also a concession stand, food trucks, dozens of arts and craft vendors to shop from and live music await you at this family-friendly fall event! You do not want to miss the Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest, which takes place at 3:00. See you there!

Check out Reed’s Entertainment 18 hole custom putt-putt course in Putnam Village Shopping Center this weekend and see what their “spooky golf” is all about!  **Note that the Putnam County Farmer’s Market is cancelled this weekend, so unfortunately you’ll have to take that off of your list of things to do.
