The Hurricane Christmas Parade is this Saturday at 4:00p.m. It kicks off at Hurricane Bridge Park (just past Hurricane Middle School on Midland Trail) and ends at First Baptist Church on Main Street. Be sure to arrive early for a good spot!  Here are some things happening in coordination with the parade:

-Pre-parade from 3:30-4:00, the Hurricane Civic Chorus will sing at the gazebo on Main Street.

-Immediately following the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the gazebo for the kids to see and talk to! They can also drop off their letters in our Official North Pole Letters for Santa mail box at this time. (The box will be leaving on Monday, December 13th!) Make sure to include a self-addressed stamped envelope if you want Santa to reply.

-Immediately following the parade, My Messy Desk on Dudding Avenue will be home to ornament making, and the first 50 kids will be making theirs for FREE.

-Drip’s Café on Main will have hot cocoa and cookies all day, and proceeds will go to support the Hurricane Middle School band.

Make it a great weekend, Putnam County!
