The Putnam County Fair opens this weekend with nine days of family fun filled entertainment! Music, carnival rides and games, truck & tractor pulls, demolition derby, ATV/motocross, mud run, bull riding, livestock, vendors, food, and much more! Just in case you’ve been living under a rock, the Reptile House & Rescue is relocating here to Valley Park this summer! Come join Andy McKee as he takes you on an immersive reptile exhibit tour on Saturday from 11am-2pm where you will learn all about reptiles and how to interact with them in nature. Andy will be leading an amazing and interactive learning experience that is great for all ages, so come out and join us on an adventure where you are certain to learn something!
You will meet at the Big Red Barn at the Hurricane City Park at 11:00am, then the group will head back to the Meeks shelter where Andy has an assortment of fun activities planned!
The event is free, but donations are greatly appreciated!
